AVID CLUB

AVID Club Mission: The AVID Club is a service/social club for students in the AVID program at New Hanover. Students organize and patricipate in various social activities, service projects and fundraisers throughout the school year. The club is dedicated to empowering students and promoting strong academics and community involvement.

Activities: Tailgating, T-shirt Contests, Silent Auction Fundraiser, Relay for Life, Organizing the Senior AVID Banquet, the AVID Newsletter, etc.

Meeting Times: The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month, and as needed between regularly scheduled meetings, after school in room 207.

Club Advisor: Somer Stahl, English/AVID teacher
