NHCS-TV Live Coverage of Regional Science Olympiad 2018

It’s time for Regional Science Olympiad 2018, Southeastern North Carolina’s biggest science competition, Saturday, March 10th on the campus of UNCW.

Seven hundred competitors from middle and high schools in five counties will face the challenges of 32 science-based events. From Dynamic Planet to the nail-biting suspense of Tower, Regional Science Olympiad is one of the areas most competitive and engaging competitions.

You can get into all the excitement of Olympiad from the comfort of your own home. For the 18th year, NHCS-TV presents exclusively “live” coverage on Cable Channels 5 and 191. Those without cable can watch events streamed via the link at while Roku owners can watch via the PEG Central app. Just look for the NHCS-TV logo.

Once again, the students of NHCS-TV will be providing coverage of the Olympiad’s biggest events, including Wright Stuff, Battery Buggy, Duct Tape Challenge, and more. NHCS-TV coverage begins at noon and will run continuously throughout the afternoon including complete coverage of all the closing ceremonies and awards.
