Isaac Bear Early College High School Presents Launching Leaders Series
Fourth Installment Features Local Physician and Columbus County Native, Dr. Deidra Blanks

WHAT:
Isaac Bear Early College High School will host the fourth and final installment of its Launching Leaders Series for the 2012-2013 school year. The last segment will feature Dr. Deidra Blanks, a local otorhinolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat physician) with a special interest and training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Blanks will speak to Isaac Bear students about her educational background, which includes attending East Carolina University, the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and the University of Missouri, where she was one of 37 surgeons in the country to be accepted into the facial and reconstructive surgery fellowship program. Her leadership focused presentation will give students insight into the world of medicine and the career opportunities available for students to consider.
