This requirement is based upon a student attending a New Hanover County High School for four years therefore, having 32 opportunities to earn credits.  Students entering high school credit from outside the county may have less opportunities to earn credits.  Appropriate adjustments and total number of required credits will be made.  Any reduction in credits required will occur in elective credit requirements only.
