Personal Data:
Jeannette S. Nichols spent
most of her youth in Wilmington, North Carolina, and is a
graduate of New Hanover High School. She earned a
Bachelor of Science Degree from East Carolina University and
a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from
George Mason University. She is a certified teacher
and principal. She returned to Wilmington in 1986, and
was honored in 1989 as Educator of the Year. She
taught at Alderman Elementary School until elected to the
Board of Education in 2000. Jeannette has a son, Jay
and a daughter, Jayne and four grandchildren. |
