Mirella Timms, New Hanover County Schools Itinerant Teacher of the Visually Impaired, has been named New Hanover County's 2008 Exceptional Children's Teacher of Excellence.
   

 

Rebecca Higgins-Opgrand, principal of Pine Valley Elementary, and Boni Hall, principal of Wrightsboro Elementary, are recognized for each of their schools being recipients of the Positive Behavior Support Exemplary Award.
