Directions for Searching PDF Files

1. Open the appropriate PDF file.

2. Click on the Search Tool in the Acrobat Reader toolbar.  A search window will open to the right of the map.

3. Enter the name of the street without the street number or street suffix.  If you are searching for 506 N Kerr Avenue enter only the word Kerr. Click on Search.

4. A list of possible matches will appear.  Click on the appropriate match. The street name will be highlighted in the file. 

5. Locate your address range.  The last column will tell you the school to which your child is assigned.

Directions for Searching PDF Maps

1. Open the appropriate PDF file.

2. Click on the Search Tool in the Acrobat Reader toolbar.  A search window will open to the right of the map.

3. Enter the name of the street without the street number or street suffix.  If you are searching for 506 N Kerr Avenue enter only the word Kerr. Click on Search.

4. A list of possible matches will appear.  Click on the appropriate match.  That section of the map will be highlighted.

5. Use the zoom tool to zoom in on the map.

6. Please note:  Some maps contain more than one school district.  You will need to refer to the legend  of the map to determine the correct color for your school district. (The legend will be located in one of the four corners of the map.)

Directions for Using the Online Maps

1. Depending on your Internet connection, it may take a minute for the map to load.
2. Once it loads, you will see a menu on the left.  Click to select the information that you want to display.  Click on Apply Changes.
3. Once the map reloads, you will need to select the Find Address button on the right of the screen.
4. A window will appear below the map that will allow you to enter your street address.  Click on Locate.
5. A map will load displaying the address and the school district lines.
