HOGGARD NAMES DWIGHT FINDLAY NEW HEAD MEN’S SOCCER COACH

WILMINGTON, NC - Hoggard High School is proud to announce Dwight Findlay as the new Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Program. Coach Findlay is currently the Business Computer Technology teacher and FBLA Advisor at Wilmington Early College High School.


Coach Findlay attended Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, WV where he played soccer and was named 1994-1995 Academic Athlete of the Year. He also played at the First Division level in Trinidad and Tobago where he grew up.


Coach Findlay is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), he holds a USSF National Youth License and a NCYSA Youth II Certificate. He has coached at the following nationally recognized programs, Next Level Academy, CEDA Academy, Capital Area Soccer League (CASL), and Hammerheads Youth Club.  He is also the founder and owner of the internationally recognized technical Soccer training and development program known as Superb Soccer.


Hoggard High School is excited to have Coach Findlay on their coaching staff and look forward to seeing great things from the Men’s Soccer program this year. There will be a brief meet and greet with Coach Findlay in the Media Center on Monday, July 24th at 8:30am.


The first summer workout will be on Monday, July 24th at 6am on the Hoggard Practice Fields. All students must have required paperwork turned in for their Ticket to Play before participating.


Try-outs will be August 1, more details to come.
