Spring Mideastern Conference Champions: Baseball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Lacrosse,
Women’s Lacrosse.
Hoggard won the 2013 Mideastern Conference Wells Fargo Cup for the 26th time in the
last 28 years.

HOGGARD EXAM SCHEDULE
- All exams begin at 8:30 AM. Dismissal at 1:00 PM.
- June 1: First period exam
- June 4: Second period exam
- June 5: Fourth period exam
- June 6: Third period exam
- June 7: Make Up / Retest exams
- Lunch will be provided at dismissal for students who wish to have lunch.
- STUDENTS MAY NOT BE CHECKED OUT DURING THE FINAL EXAM SESSION (8:30-1:00) FOR ANY
REASON.
- ALL REGULAR ADMINISTRATION EOC TESTS (ALGEBRA I, BIOLOGY, ENGLISH I) WILL BE GIVEN
ON JUNE 1, 4, & 6. STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT PROFICIENT (LEVEL III OR IV) ON THE EOC ARE
REQUIRED TO REMAIN ON CAMPUS FOR MANDATORY REMEDIATION. A BUS WILL BE PROVIDED.
THINKING & LEARNING OUTSIDE THE BOX
- The Hoggard Student Council Seniors recently completed their gift to the school....The
Pavilion-an outdoor classroom! This year, the Class of 2012 wanted to give their
school something that would be useful and would last for many, many years. Working
with Home Depot, the Seniors cleared out a shady area of the campus and built benches
for the teacher and students to use while enjoying the outdoors and their studies.

- Selected from the NC Veterans Commission to receive a scholarship

- JT will attend UNC Charlotte and study engineering.
HOGGARD’S VOLUNTEERS OF THE YEAR
HOSA CONFERENCE
- On March 29-30, six members of the Hoggard HOSA club went to the HOSA State Conference.
The following students represented Hoggard: Conner Church came in fifth in the “Researched
Persuasive Speaking” and Myung Park came in eighth in “Sports Medicine”. Rebekah
Anderson, Azziza Watson, Faaria Watson, and Jasmine Williams competed in the HOSA
Bowl and although they did not place, they did a great job representing Hoggard.
