The SDA classrooms love PE with our adapted PE teacher, Ann Hughes, every Monday.

Ms.Le and Mr. Johns’ classes enjoyed making a cake last week to go along with their lesson. Our students are learning about cooking safety, measuring, and other math and daily living skills.

Several orchestra and band students had a great time seeing A Carolina Nutcracker at the Wilson Center.

Visual Art students in grades 6, 7, and 8 worked together to create a fantastic design for the Mayfaire Holiday Window Walk. The Holly Shelter window is at the Ann Taylor store.

Congrats to Daphne for winning a Gold Medal for her "soccer skills" in her division at the Special Olympics Soccer Tournament in Charlotte, NC.

Congrats to these orchestra students who took part in the NC Solo and Ensemble Orchestra Competition. HSMS came away with two superior ratings and one excellent rating.
