Human Resources  - Application Process for Certified Positions

 

  1. Create an online "Certified" application at http://schooljobs.dpi.state.nc.us/.
     

  2. Mail the following to the Human Resources Department at 6410 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC  28412:

    • Completed Authorization for Release of Information form. A pre-employment criminal background check will be performed.
       

    • An official copy of undergraduate and graduate transcripts, a copy of your Praxis II scores (or verification of their Highly Qualified status as per NCLB legislation), and a copy of your teaching license to the Human Resources Department. 
       

  3. Send a copy of your resume and/or letter of interest to the schools/departments for the position in which you are interested.
     

  4. Contact Human Resources at 910-763-5431 if you have any questions or problems.
