Student Accident Insurance In the past, schools received enough printed student accident insurance applications to distribute to each child. The student would take the application home and the parent would decide whether or not to purchase this coverage. If so, the parent would submit the application and payment directly to the insurance company. For the past several years parents of less than 1% of the student population purchased this coverage. In an effort to reduce costs and continue to offer a low-cost accident insurance plan for our students, New Hanover County Schools was provided PDF files containing the student accident application form and a claim form. The files are identified below; just click on the title and download the form. The application and claim form can also be found on the NHCS Operations website under Forms.
