Project Uplift

Project Uplift is a special program that enables high-achieving rising seniors to experience college life on the Carolina campus.  Students spend two days visiting classes, meeting with faculty and staff, interacting with current Carolina students, and participating in cultural and social activities.  Designed for students from under-served populations, such as American Indian, African American, Latino/Hispanic, Asian American and first-generation college student, Project Uplift is an all-expense paid program including room, meals, and program materials.  Of the fifteen students we could nominate, the following students were selected:

LaToya Williams

Elise McDow

Michael Casper

Sheldon Brown

Haley Morris

Congratulations to these students for being chosen to attend this wonderful opportunity!
