Blair Elementary School Dedicates New Outdoor Classroom

Blair Elementary School hosted a dedication ceremony for its new outdoor classroom on Thursday, June 5, 2008. The classroom was dedicated to Principal Sharon Sand and Assistant Principal Barbara Stock. The new classroom was a project through the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce's Hands on Wilmington and was built by employees of General Electric (GE).

Dr. Alfred H. Lerch, Jr., New Hanover County Schools Superintendent, two GE representatives who participated in the classroom project, and Blair's entire student body and staff attended the presentation.
