New Hanover County School
Teachers Attend
The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching
Eight teachers from Alderman
Elementary School and one teacher from Isaac Bear Early College
High School have been accepted to attend The North Carolina
Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) as Teacher
Scholars in Residence, in Cullowhee, NC, May 5 - 9, 2008. Those
attending are as follows:

development activities for educators at the Pre-K through 12th
grade level. NCCAT is designed to ensure the future prosperity
and well-being of North Carolina children and provide a sound
economy for the state, as well as attract and retain the best
teachers.
