Elementary Schools Share an
Adventure from the Past
Bradley Creek Elementary and
Wrightsville Beach Elementary school students will soon
experience an exciting and educational fossil presentation. On
Wednesday, April 23, 2008, Bradley Creek students and on
Thursday, April 24, 2008, Wrightsville Beach students will
participate in An Adventure From the Past, coordinated by Anne
Lineberry, physical education teacher for both schools and an
avid fossil hunter. Students will learn about creatures from 400
million years ago through a fossil video, a personal
presentation by Ms. Lineberry, a fossil dig through 27 tons of
'fossil rich' dirt, and a tour of fossil displays. The
school-wide event will be held both days from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30
p.m., at Bradley Creek Elementary School, 6211 Greenville Loop
Road, Wilmington.
