New Hanover County Schools Present
19th Annual Best Foot Forward

New Hanover County Schools proudly present the nineteenth annual BEST FOOT FORWARD Performance on Friday, March 28, 2008, at 7:30 p.m., in New Hanover High School’s Brogden Hall. Over 600 of New Hanover County’s brightest and most talented students will showcase the curriculum through dance, drama, and music. The Best Foot Forward program features 20 spectacular performances integrating special effects and uplifting music from pre-kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high schools.

An impressive visual arts exhibit, highlighting works from all grade levels, will be displayed throughout the lobby of Brogden Hall. Early spectators will be entertained by the All-County High School Orchestra under the direction of Roy Robuck and Philip Singleton, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Master of Ceremonies for this year’s show will be Jon Evans. Producers are Georgeann Haas, Arts Education Supervisor and Aaron Oliver, NHCS-TV Coordinator. Artistic Director is Johannes Bron and Technical Directors are Benjamin Horrell and Shelia Bron.

General admission tickets for the show are $7 each and are available for purchase at the New Hanover County Schools Public Relations Office, located at 1802 South 15th Street. Students may also place a ticket order at their school.

Proceeds from Best Foot Forward will endow a scholarship fund to assist children to attend summer enrichment camps.

This year's program has been made possible by support of Richardson Orthodontics, Carolina Sports Medicine, Time-Warner Cable, Rippy Automotive, AT&T, Intracoastal Realty, Simply Play, and Toyota of Wilmington.
