Pine Valley Elementary School
Hosts
Daughters and Dads Science Night
Tonight, Tuesday, April 29, 2008,
Pine Valley Elementary School will host Daughters and Dads
Science Night from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Young female students
will gather with their fathers, uncles, grandfathers, or other
important males in their lives for an evening of fun and
scientific discovery.
With the help of many Pine Valley parent volunteers, and
students from Issac Bear Early College, girls will be able to
visit up to 14 different stations where they will try everything
from conducting experiments, to looking into microscopes, to
creating towers made of toothpicks.
Pine Valley's purpose for this experience is to ignite a sense
of discovery for the young girls, and foster confidence in their
abilities as young scientists.
For more information about Daughters and Dads Science Night,
contact Cindy Talbert, principal, at 910-350-2121.
