North Carolina Report Cards To Be Released

North Carolina and the federal No Child Left Behind Act require report cards for every local school, district and state. This report card includes relevant information about school and student performance, class sizes, attendance, teacher quality, school safety and instructional resources. These report cards will be released Tuesday, October 30, 2007. They may be accessed on the North Carolina website, http://www.ncreportcards.org.

In New Hanover County, principals will send the snapshot version of the school report card to parents on Monday, November 5. If parents have questions, they should contact their child's school.
