Carolina Beach
Elementary School Students
Participate in the Carolina Beach Police Department Motto
Contest
WHAT:
Students of Carolina Beach
Elementary School will gather for a school assembly for the
announcement of the winning entry for the Carolina Beach Police
Department (CBPD) motto contest. The CBPD asked Carolina Beach
Elementary students to participate in its motto contest this
past March. The CBPD is seeking a motto that is unique to
Carolina Beach. Carolina Beach Mayor Joel Macon, Carolina Beach
Fire Chief Jon Rorie, and members of the Carolina Beach Police
Advisory Committee will be on-hand to announce the winning motto
and award the student winner. The student will receive a police
vehicle ride to and from school, a tee-shirt, and a pizza party
for his or her class.
The school will also host its fifth
grade D.A.R.E. graduation ceremony following the school
assembly.
