NHCS Plans High School
Prom for Exceptional Children's Classes
Students of Life Skills I and II classes
from Ashley, Hoggard, Laney and New Hanover High Schools and the
Transition Program for Young Adults (TPYA) are preparing to
attend a special prom, just for them. The prom will be held on
Friday, May 15, 2009, at the Michael Jordan Gymnasium on the
campus of Laney High School, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Students will dance the day away as
guest DJ, Craig Thomas of Sunny 104.5, plays their favorite
tunes. They will also enjoy great food and of course, spending
time with their friends at the prom.
The prom has been made possible by the
following sponsors:
Ashley, Hoggard, Laney and New Hanover
PTSAs, Builders Mutual Insurance Company, Corning, and PPD.
Through these sponsorships, students will have the opportunity
to experience a wonderful, memorable prom, complete with photos,
gifts, music and food.
