New Hanover County
Schools' Pre-K Accepting
Applications for Student Enrollment
The New Hanover County Schools' Pre-K
Program serves children who are at risk of academic failure and
prepares them for success in kindergarten and beyond.
Instruction is designed to strengthen children's reading, math,
and pre-writing skills. Children served in Pre-K attend a
full-school day, full school year program that meets
high-quality state standards:
- Teachers are licensed with
specialized training
- Small class size and low
teacher-student ratios
- Research-based, comprehensive
curriculum
- Focus on the whole child and family
The NHCS Pre-Kindergarten Program is
accepting applications for enrollment at the following
