We are a fully networked school with wireless access available to
all rooms and offices. 


Classrooms including art, music, AIG and EC are equipped with the following:

*1 teacher computer
*A laptop in most classrooms
*One networked laserjet printer with access to a common color laser *printer on both the first and second floors
*A digital camera
*A telephone in each classroom with voice mail for each staff member
*Mimio interactive white board unit and/or Mimio pad
*LCD projectors are mounted in all classrooms and multi-purpose room
*Wall mounted TVs that  are connected to cable, broadcasting,TEBs clock and dvd/vhs players
*Over 30 networked software programs that provide: student enrichment, tutoring, diversification for curriculum, tools for staff production, progress reports, tools for measuring student levels and more.
*4 – 6 Leap Frog Leap Pad Units for each classroom k-3
*Flashmaster units for math facts 2-5
*Listening Centers
*Accelerated Math Scanners (1-5)

Schoolwide:

*A Media/Technology Team that meets quarterly to access technology needs, discuss issues, vision for the future
*A full time technology facilitator who uses the NC Essential Standards in Information and Technology, along with the integration of technology into Common Core Curriculum for each grade level. *A full time Technology Assistant who is responsible for maintaining the equipment, software, network management, inventories, the school website and is available to the staff for assistance and training.

* 3 sets of Turning Point student hand held reponse systems

*Over 20,000 materials in circulation and an up to date teacher resource collection
*A fully technical media center equipped with 7 student computer stations
* An online catalogue system
