HOMEWORK | ||||
| The Board of Education policy requires all teachers to assign homework. This must be work which students complete after the school day ends. Homework will be assigned each night, Monday through Thursday. Students will usually not have homework during weekends and holidays. Homework is most often for practicing new skills or for enrichment. Assignments may vary in length due to special projects, contract lessons, or study preparation. The teacher will sue his/her best judgment in assigning an appropriate amount of homework considering the age and grade level of your child. Students are expected to do homework assignments. A program of positive reinforcement and recognition rewards those who regularly complete work. |

| REPORT CARDS | |||||
|
There are four (4) grading periods during the school year. A progress report/report card will be sent to the parents of each student at the end of each grading period.
In addition, an interim progress report will be sent to the parents of each student at the midpoint of each grading period. View school year calendar for dates of report cards and interim reports. |
