Parsley's Motto

Patriot Kids cheering The Parsley staff updated our Mission Statement at the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year. When the PTA introduced the idea of having a school motto on a t-shirt, we decided to let the students have the opportunity to come up with some suggestions. Many classes worked together to come up with a couple mottos. Some classes let students submit individual motto suggestions. A committee used some of the suggestions they received and also combined ideas from others to come up with five possible mottos. Then students (and staff) were allowed to vote for their favorite. t-shirt with Parsley motto Twenty classes voted and a total of 448 votes were tabulated. The overwhelming winner, with 50% of all votes, was "Parsley Pride is on our side!".

This motto was submitted by Mrs. Robbins' 5th grade class.

It will appear on Parsley apparel.
