     The New Hanover County Schools have resource personnel who work with the classroom teacher to provide special assistance.  Available to meet the unique needs of each child are:

• school psychologists
• testing diagnosticians
• speech language pathologists
• physical and occupational therapists
• exceptional children resource teachers
• ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers
• Assistive Technology Services
• school counselors
• Student Support Team
