ReflectionsReflections

paint easelReflections is a National PTA sponsored contest for students in preschool through grade 12. PTA believes all that children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue cameraartistic expression through participation in its annual Reflections Program. Students submit entries through their local PTA. Original works of art in photography, literature, visual arts, musical composition , film/video composition, and dance choreography.  Students may enter in as many categories as they'd like.

musical notesThe Reflections program has been a part of the national PTA program for almost 40 years. It was started in 1969 by then Colorado PTA President Mary Lou Anderson.

Reflections entries are typically due early in November.  Look for information about this program to come home with your child early in the school year.  Please contact Rika Spencer at r_justesen@hotmail.com or Rachel Hensler's at Rhenslerpac@gmail.com for more information.

The theme for 2014-2015 is “The World Would Be A Better Place If"
Entry forms and participation rules may be found on the NC PTA Reflections page.

Entries due date:  Oct. 30.  Please bring them to the Multipurpose Room before school, beginning at 7:30am.
