Parents should bring the documentation listed below with them to registration. 

Application Process

• Age 4 on or before August 31, 2008

• New Hanover County Resident

• Pre-K Registration February 4-15

• Screening to assess pre-academic skills

• Parent Interview

Required Documentation

• Proof of Residency (Utility Bill, Lease or Purchase Contract)

• Proof of Income

• Certified Birth Certificate w/Seal

• Immunization Record

• Child’s Social Security Card

• Medicaid Card (If applicable)

• Custody Papers (If applicable)

• Photo Identification of Parent

Notification

Families are notified in early to mid June regarding their acceptance into the program. The focus of More at Four is to serve children who have not been enrolled in a quality early childhood program or have a demonstrated academic or social need for the program.
