Revised Bloom's Taxonomy (RBT)

The CTE curriculum is in the process of being remapped to Revised Bloom's
Taxonomy (RBT). The majority of our courses have already been revised.
All program area curriculum guides, pacing guides, and test
banks will utilizing RBT.

Dr. Lorin Anderson, the guru of Revised Bloom's Taxonomy (RBT)
created the following PowerPoint presentations for the CTE Department.

Course Equipment Lists

Some general equipment is needed for all CTE programs.
Additional equipment is needed to teach specific CTE courses.

Equipment can be found in the North Carolina Career and Technical
Education Equipment Guide, which can be downloaded
from the NC DPI Equipment Guide web page.

Essential Standards

2012 Career and Technical Education Essential Standards
The 2012 Career and Technical Education Essential Standards were approved unanimously by the State Board of Education in June 2011. The Essential Standards go into effect in July 2012.
