New Hanover County Board of Education Announces Upcoming May Meetings

 

The New Hanover County Board of Education will hold the following meetings:

  • Special Meeting on Monday, May 4, 2020, at 3 p.m. The only item on the agenda is a Closed Session pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11 (a)(2). 
  • The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee will hold a meeting on Monday, May 4, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. in the Board of Education Center. Attendance will be strictly limited to no more than 10 people, which is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general public will have the option to view remotely via live streaming on Youtube at NHCS TV- YouTube.  
  • Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 3 p.m. The only item on the agenda is a Closed Session pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11 (a)(2).  
  • Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of Education Center. Attendance will be strictly limited to no more than 10 people, which is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general public will have the option to view remotely via live streaming on Roku, Apple TV, and online at NHCS TV.
  • The Calendar Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. in the Board of Education Center. Attendance will be strictly limited to no more than 10 people, which is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general public will have the option to view remotely via live streaming on Youtube at NHCS TV- YouTube.  
  • The Policy Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 9 a.m. in the Board of Education Center. Attendance will be strictly limited to no more than 10 people, which is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general public will have the option to view remotely via live streaming on Youtube at NHCS TV- YouTube.
  • The Family Communications Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. in the Board of Education Center. Attendance will be strictly limited to no more than 10 people, which is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general public will have the option to view remotely via live streaming on Youtube at NHCS TV- YouTube.
