The Governor’s School of NC Selects 16 NHCS Students to Attend this Summer

The Governor’s School of North Carolina has selected 16 New Hanover County Schools’ students to attend the 2019 summer residential program. The Governor’s School is the oldest statewide summer residential program for academically or intellectually gifted high school students in the nation. Students are invited to apply in an academic area or an arts area of their choice.

Congratulations to the outstanding NHCS’ students who will spend five and one-half weeks at either Governor’s School West at Salem College in Winston-Salem or Governor’s School East at Meredith College in Raleigh. The following students have been selected to attend The Governor’s School:
