Back to School 2021-2022
New Hanover County Schools in cooperation with Coastal Horizons will begin offering free rapid testing at the four traditional high schools for symptomatic students and staff regardless of student or staff’s school assignment. Any student or staff can present at any of the following locations for a test. The schedule will be as follows:
COVID Rapid Testing Schedule for Schools
Monday Testing- Hoggard High School (9-11) - Testing will be conducted in Breezeway
Tuesday Testing - New Hanover High School (9-11) – Testing will be conducted in front of the lobby of the NHHS WHAT Clinic – 13th & Dock St
Wednesday Testing - Laney (9-11) - Testing will be conducted in Breezeway
Thursday Testing - Ashley (9-11) - Testing will be conducted backside of building between the cafeteria and gymnasium
Friday Testing - Coastal Horizons WHAT Clinic Oleander {9-11)
**The times listed are subject to change based on staff availability**
In order to be tested, the student must be accompanied by a parent and/or have the COVID 19 Testing Packet documentation filled out and signed by the parent/legal guardian. You can access and download the COVID Testing Consent Packet here.
