NHCS TO ANNOUNCE TEACHER & PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR
New Hanover County Schools will announce the 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year at publishers clearing house style event on Friday, May 21, 2021. In addition to district administrators, several Board of Education Members will be in attendance.

Sometime between 11AM-2PM one of three teacher finalists will be named the district’s overall Teacher of the Year. In addition, Hendrick Toyota representatives will be on-site to provide a new Toyota Rav4. The dealership has been a major supporter of NHCS and the Teacher of the Year program for the past seven years. The awards will be broadcast on NHCS’ Facebook LIVE and coverage highlights will also air on NHCS-TV’s Youtube channel.
