The New Hanover County Board of Education will hold a Special meeting on Friday, September 1, 2023, 9 AM, at the Board of Education Center, located at 1805 South 13th Street. The audience seating capacity will be 170. The general public will have the option to view remotely on NHCS-TV YouTube. This Special Meeting will be held for the specific purpose of the Board to hear an appeal of the administration's decision to allow the book, STAMPED.
