New Hanover County Launches NextRequest Public Record Request Portal
On November 22, New Hanover County Schools (NHCS) launched a new public records management system to improve efficiency and consistency in responding to public records requests.
The NextRequest software will allow the public to submit requests directly to NHCS through a public portal. Requests and documents can be published to the public. This will allow the district to streamline and prevent duplicate requests. NHCS is excited about the improved constituent service that this portal will bring to our community.
“This software is highly anticipated. NextRequest is user-friendly and will allow the public to track their request in real-time, increasing transparency and streamlining the request process,” said Russell Clark, Media Relations Manager.
The public can begin making requests through the following portal: NHCS Public Record Request.
Any public records request made before November 22, 2021, will not need to be resubmitted and will still be processed.
