NHCS Announces Rookie of the Year Nominees

New Hanover County Schools would like to congratulate the 2020-2021 Rookie of the Year Award nominees. The Rookie of the Year program was created as a partnership between New Hanover County Schools and the Wilmington Downtown Rotary Club. The goal of the program is to recognize excellence among educators within their first three years of teaching.
Twelve nominees were selected for this year’s award, including:

Five finalists will be selected in February and the committee will surprise them with a Publisher Clearing House-style announcement. One of these educators will also be named the NHCS Rookie of the Year. Each finalist will be recognized at the NHCS Board of Education meeting in March.
