Clean Classrooms for Carolina Kids
In a joint initiative, The State of North Carolina and nonprofit research institute RTI International have introduced the Clean Classrooms for Carolina Kids™ program, aimed at assisting public schools and licensed childcare centers in identifying and removing lead and asbestos hazards from their building infrastructure. This expansion builds upon the success of the Clean Water for Carolina Kids™ program, which previously conducted comprehensive lead testing in water sources at all state childcare centers.
