Parental involvement is critical to a child's education. That's why NHCS has provided a user-friendly web application to help parents and families become more involved. Parents can check their child's homework assignments, attendance, grades and other items from any computer, any time, using PowerSchool.
The PowerSchool Parent Portal Mobile App is available for parents and students to download for free as a combined parent and student app from the App Store for the iPhone®, iPad® or iPod touch®, and as separate PowerSchool apps for parents and students on Google Play for Android devices.
Click onParent of a Canvas User - Click Herefor an Account in the top right corner.
Complete the form and enter the student pairing code that was given to you by the teacher. The pairing code is only valid for seven days. If you sign up after seven days, you will need to request a new code.
You can also download the Canvas Parent App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
When you receive an invitation as a parent/Guardian, you will not have access to the actual Google Classroom. Instead, guardians get an email summary of their student’s work, which contains information about missing work, upcoming work, and class activity.
When one teacher deletes a guardian, it deletes the guardian in ALL the classes. This may be why a guardian could keep disappearing from classes. Contact your child's teacher if this happens.
