Student Cannot Login to Laptop They Took Home
When you first receive your laptop, make sure you sign into it while at school before bringing it home. If you do not sign into it at school the first time you use it, you will not be able to log in at home.
If you took it home without logging into it first at the school, you will need to go back on campus, allow it to connect to the NHCS wifi and login, then it will work at home.
Saving/Downloading Files While at Home
Students cannot save/download documents to the laptop. You will need to use a flash drive or save it in Google Drive.
Student Gets Error Message When Trying to Login at Home
If you get the message “Your domain isn’t available” when trying to login to your laptop at home, you are most likely inputting the wrong username or the WiFi is not connected.

* Students with no internet access at home can request a hotspot through their School Counselor.
Connecting to a WiFi Hotspot:
First, turn on the hotspot by holding the power button until it turns on. The hotspot name and password are located either on the back of the device or you will see it on the screen once you turn it on.
On an iPad go to Settings, then locate WiFi settings.
Select WiFi Network named after your hotspot.
Enter the hotspot's password and join.
On a Laptop click the WiFi icon (on PCs on bottom right,
on Macs on top right) and select WiFi Network named
for your hotspot. Enter your hotspot's password and join.
* Remember, if you are using an NHCS issued hotspot, you will only have 100gb of data PER YEAR. If you run out of data you will not able to connect to the internet. Only use these hotspots for school work.
