Parent Intent Forms are being sent by your child's school to determine your preference on your child's schedule.  

UNDER PLAN A (IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION):  When the district transitions to Plan A on March 8, all students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504s will be invited to attend school face-to-face for five days per week.  A full remote option will continue to be available for families electing to not return to full face-to-face instruction. 

UNDER PLAN B AA/BB SCHEDULE:  Upon transitioning to Plan B, all students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are invited to attend school on both AA and BB days.  All students are remote on Wednesdays.  Some students will need to attend remotely if they are unable to wear a cloth face mask as required or cannot be safely accommodated with alternative face coverings.  

UNDER PLAN C (ALL REMOTE INSTRUCTION):  All students, including students with IEPs, will receive all of their services, including related services, through a remote learning model.  For students with IEPs, all services outlined in their IEP will be provided as written or provided as written in the Remote Contingency Learning Plan developed as part of an IEP Addendum meeting. 

Students with IEPs may receive their supports through a variety of modalities, including live instruction (synchronous), taped lessons or other asynchronous activities, packets of materials, etc.  Parents, guardians, or other caregivers will be provided training in assisting their student with their learning, as appropriate.  Instructional assistants and other support staff will be utilized to provide support, accommodations, and modifications, and opportunities for synchronous activities based on material that has already been presented by the classroom teacher.
 
 
Virtual Academy:  K-8 students who choose virtual academy commit to 9 weeks of learning under this model.  High School students must commit to one semester.  For students with IEPs, services and supports will be provided either consistent with their IEP or their IEP Addendum.  All services will be remote, including related services and other supports.
