1st- American Chemical Society ACS Scholars - For students that are African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian, or more than once race and intending to major in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology, or another chemistry-related science AND planning to pursue a career in a chemistry-related science.
1st - Eunice Riggins Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is open to any young woman with academic rank in top 10% of the class
30th - NC Home Builders Workforce Development Regional Scholarship - Submit the application form and an advisor recommendation form for a chance at 1 of 8 available $1,000 scholarships. Can be considered for renewal after 1st year.

A) Be a graduating high school senior who will enroll in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
B) Have a documented learning disability.
A) Self-identify as a Women, LGBTQIA+, and/or BIPOC student.
B) Plan to study computer science or a closely related major.
A) Be a dependent of an Active, Guard, Reserve, Veteran, or retired members of any service branch.
B) Be pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in the Fall of 2026.
A) Be a high school senior on pace to graduate in 2026.
B) Be currently accepted to an accredited institution with a culinary arts, pastry, or foodservice-related major.
A) Be majoring in Business, Food Management, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, or other focuses leading to a career in grocery.
B) Be enrolled or accepted as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the upcoming academic year.
A) Be the child of a U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force member.
B) Be enrolled or accepted as a full-time undergraduate student in the upcoming academic year.
A) Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university for the upcoming semester.
B) Be a surviving child of a deceased servicemember.
B) Play golf as a hobby or as part of a team, work at a golf course, as a caddy or in a pro shop.

1st - PONY Baseball and Softball Alumni Scholarship - $3,000 - 8 Awards If you play(ed) Cape Fear or Winter Park Optimist baseball/softball, and meet the additional criteria, you are eligible to apply.
B) Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university in the upcoming year.
A) Be between the ages of 17 and 24 on September 1st.
B) Submit an answer to the essay question prior to the deadline.
A) Attend an accredited school of nursing or an accredited respiratory therapist program.

In fact, July is National Ice Cream Month, and that's the inspiration behind this award. We think people are very similar to ice cream; some are nutty, others a little exotic, while some are very comforting. If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?" (250 words or less)

NC Community Foundation-Universal Scholarships Application helps students find and apply for multiple scholarships they are eligible for using one application.
NEXTNC - Next NC Scholarship-Students attending a community college will receive at least $3,000. That’s more than the cost of full-time tuition, which means qualifying North Carolinians can choose from any of the 58 community colleges across the state and have all of their tuition and fees 100% covered. Those attending a public university in North Carolina will get a minimum of $5,000. That pays for more than half, if not all, of tuition and fees at any of the 16 public universities in the state.
